I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for a multidisciplinary consultancy working on large scale highway schemes.
 
My client is working on a programme for RIS 2 in excess of £65m per annum, which translates into an annual programme of works of more than 70 schemes.  
 
As the Project Manager, you will support in managing projects by supporting existing technical specialists to deliver works packages through options development, by coordinating the work through suppliers and liaising with technical specialists to develop the right solution that meets the objectives of customer.  
 
The Role
·Provide technical steer and governance
·Manage and monitor programme
·Identify with designers any technical services and procure through call off TST contract
·Registering contracts on central database and verifying payments upon completion
·Submit Departures from Standards and discuss with NH specialists
·Be responsible for forecasting costs against budget; verification of contractor invoices and payments; reporting monthly
·Detailed collation of project information and handover to Scheme Delivery Team
 
The Ideal Candidate
·7+ years' experience
·Previous experience working on site under NEC Contracts
·Previous experience working on major highway schemes, ideally National Highways
·Experience managing staff and budgets
·Project Management qualifications desirable
·Ability to manage workload and deliver on projects
