Are you a Project Manager with experience in the delivery of housing upgrades / refurbishment schemes with Local Authorities or Housing providers looking for a new challenge with a people centric Local Authority?

Who will you be joining?  
 
A newly re-structured Major works project team in a Hertfordshire based Local Authority delivering multiple schemes to their housing stock both internally and externally. This council pride themselves on their people first ethos with big plans for the delivery of their strategic plans for the future of their town.
 
 
 
What will you do?
 
Report to the Programme Manager supported by a Clerk of Works.
 
Manage relationships with contractors, residents and other stakeholders.
 
Produce clear concise reports with supporting data  
 
Analyse data and information  
 
Lead multiple contracts / projects  
 
Provide technical advice where required  
 
 
 
What do you need?  
 
To be successful in securing this role you must be able to clearly demonstrate the below at application and interview stage.
 
Managing staff and contractors under both TPC and JCT forms of contract.
 
Carrying out consultation with leaseholders and other residents as part of the Section 20 process.   
 
Working in a local authority, housing association or large private sector property owner while delivering services of a similar nature.
 
Providing reports and briefing councillors committee and board members.  
 
Setting and monitoring key performance indicators carrying out checks and audits of work and providing information to auditors.
 
Analysing and certifying accounts for payment, managing and paying for the services provided by consultants.
