Are you a rail Project Manager with experience working on temporary works on bridge refurbishment projects?
 
Do you have experience working on utility diversions or drainage in a rail environment?
 
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum DOE + 10% bonus + car allowance
Location: West Ham
 
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team working on bridge refurbishment projects in West Ham, focusing on temporary works and utility diversions. This is a long-term project running for the next 4 years, offering the chance to manage a high-profile civil engineering project.

Key Responsibilities:
·Project Delivery: Manage multiple ongoing projects from design through to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and commercial performance.
·Team Collaboration: Work closely with estimating teams, engineers, and surveyors to meet customer requirements and expectations.
·Financial & Performance Monitoring: Prepare financial forecasts, monitor project costs, and produce monthly reports to the Contracts Manager.
·Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain construction programs and manage site investigations during construction.
·Client & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and design consultants.
·Health & Safety: Set the highest possible standards of leadership in promoting HS&E best practices.
·Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work packages, risk assessments, and method statements are produced and implemented in line with company procedures.
 
Requirements:
·Relevant Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or similar preferred
·Around 10 years' experience in civil engineering, ideally with experience in rail, water, and heavy civils projects.
·Experience with utility diversions or drainage in a rail environment.
·Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor experience is essential.
·Strong experience with NEC 3/4 contracts, and Primavera P6 programming (with short-term look ahead).
·SMSTS and CSCS manager's card.
·PTS and CRE-C preferred
·Lifting AP trained and familiar with NRSWA and HAUC.
·Design Management experience under Network Rail's GRIP/PACE process (preferred).
