Project Manager - Street Lighting & Comms (Civil Engineering)
Location: Nottingham, UK
Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected client in the civil engineering sector. They are seeking a Project Manager with essential experience in street lighting and communications systems to join their Nottingham-based team on a 3-month rolling contract.
Important Requirement - Please Read Before Applying:
Experience in both street lighting and communications systems within a civil engineering environment is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee end-to-end delivery of street lighting and comms infrastructure on civil engineering projects
·Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities
·Ensure all works comply with CDM regulations and health & safety standards
·Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress
·Provide clear reporting to senior management and clients
·Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders as required
Essential Experience:
·Proven background as a Project Manager in civil engineering
·Direct experience managing street lighting and communications infrastructure (e.g., traffic signals, control systems, fibre, or comms ducting)
·Strong understanding of construction and highways environments
·Excellent planning, leadership, and stakeholder communication skills
·Full UK driving licence
·SMSTS or similar safety qualification preferred
