Job Title: Project Manager - Highway Schemes
Location: Bristol Area
Salary: £3/4 Million Scheme
Contract: Freelance
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee our highway schemes in the Bristol area. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met
·Develop project plans and schedules, and monitor progress against them
·Liaise with stakeholders and clients to ensure that their requirements are met
·Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are kept within budget
·Ensure that health and safety standards are adhered to on all projects
·Conduct site visits on a daily basis to ensure that work is progressing as planned
·Maintain accurate project documentation and report progress to senior management on a regular basis
·Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that they deliver their work to the required quality and standards
·Identify and manage project risks, ensuring that they are mitigated appropriately
·Provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring that they are motivated and working efficiently
Skills and Experience:
·A degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline
·Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the highways sector
·Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
·Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams
·Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
·Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
