Role - Project Engineer (Nuclear)
 
Location - Bridgwater
 
Contract Length - 12 Months
 
Pay Rate - £390 a day LTD
 
This is an exciting role for anyone who has experience working in a highly regulated industry and has the ability to deliver engineering solutions and support on complex projects.
 
Key Duties
 
·Identify project requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned projects
·Contribute to the Project Execution Plan including the design, safety case, and commissioning strategies
·Develop concept design and fit for purpose engineering solutions for projects
·Produce and/or approve project technical specifications
·Manage detailed design activities in accordance with design authority standards.
·Carry out technical assessment/approval of contractors work instructions/method statements/risk assessments
·Liaise and consult with system engineers and other stakeholders throughout project life cycle to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
·Comply with all environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality policies, procedures work instructions and risk assessments and support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, environment and Quality on Site.
Experiences/Knowledge
 
·Experience (3 to 5 years plus desirable) in a practicing disciplined engineering role (mechanical, electrical, C&I or Civil) on industrial Plant.
·Experience of nuclear and/or conventional project engineering
·Have worked in highly regulated industries (oil, gas, pharmaceuticals) an nuclear decommissioning experience is desirable but not essential
·Working knowledge of the safety rules and risk assessment methodology  
·Knowledge of CDM designer role
