What you'll be doing
As a Principal / Associate Civil Engineer, you will:
·Lead the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from concept through to construction.
·Spend approximately 50% of your time on technical design and 50% managing project teams and client relationships.
·Oversee the production of detailed infrastructure designs, including highways and drainage, using the latest design tools such as Autodesk Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and PDS.
·Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers and technicians within the team.
·Manage budgets, resourcing, and project delivery schedules to ensure successful outcomes.
·Engage directly with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, influencing master planning and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
·Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and design standards, including the Highways Act 1980, Water Industry Act 2004, and Land Drainage Act.

What you'll bring
·A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
·Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (CEng, IEng, MICE, or equivalent).
·Strong technical background in highway and drainage design, with knowledge of SuDS principles and relevant codes of practice.
·Proven experience projects, and client relationships within a consultancy environment.
·Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
·A proactive, collaborative, and hands-on approach to technical delivery and team development.
