Principal Structural Rail Engineer needed for a permanent position in Manchester
 
My client are a well established UK consultancy who  are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to join the Rail and Structures team. This organisation have not furloughed any one during this pandemic and all of their offices are currently running at 80% utilisation or above. They are an organisation that truly care about their staff and are currently liaising with staff to see how the future of working in the office looks for them post Covid-19 and also they offer flexible working.
 
Their rail team in Manchester has rapidly grown in the last few years and is now up to a team of 30, you will be reporting into 2 directors and looking to grow the team further.
 
The ideal candidate will be a chartered engineer and have an extensive background in rail design and ideally has been a designated CRE in the past.
 
Experience:
·Minimum of five years' experience in the design of civils infrastructure in a rail environment including the application of Network Rail (NR) standards where appropriate, element design and detailing to Eurocodes in a NR environment
·Minimum of three years' experience in the design of bridges (including loading to Eurocodes, element design and detailing to Eurocodes)
