Principal Quantity Surveyor
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Principal Quantity Surveyor to join a highly respected organisation in the construction and project management sector. This role offers the chance to step into a senior leadership position, where you will lead a talented team and be at the forefront of delivering high-profile, complex projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
·Lead and manage the cost management teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
·Oversee the financial performance of projects, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with the agreed fee proposals.
·Build and maintain strong client relationships, encouraging repeat business and new opportunities.
·Mentor and develop junior staff, supporting their career progression and technical growth.
·Take ownership of resource management, ensuring the appropriate allocation of staff across projects.
·Manage the preparation of fee proposals and play a key role in the tendering and bidding process.
·Ensure all projects are delivered in line with industry best practices, company policies, and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
·Significant experience in Quantity Surveying with a proven ability to manage complex construction projects.
·RICS (or equivalent) qualification is highly desirable.
·Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and build effective relationships with clients.
·Experience in managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
·Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
·Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
