Principal Planning Officer
£40-£45 per hour - Inside IR35
3-month contract
 
Carrington West's Town Planning Recruitment Team are assisting their local authority client based in Merseyside in their search for an experienced Principal Planning Officer to join their DM Team an initial 3-month period.
 
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
·Lead a small team of officers and  manage their workload
·Lead on some service improvements e.g. process for S106/ validation check-list
·Deal with a small case load of major applications
 
 
My client is requiring an experienced planner who can 'hit the ground running' and start as soon as possible.
 
The post will be remote-based, although there will be a need to attend some site visits and possibly planning committee.
 
Our client will consider part-time working as well as full-time.
