Our client, a leading utilities company, are recruiting for a Plumbing Support Operative to work alongside  and assist a commercial plumber with the installation and maintenance of smart water meters throughout London, with the opportunity for progression within 6-12 months.
 
This role presents a great opportunity for anybody who is looking to break into the water/utilities industry, or has existing experience in a plumbers mate/assistant plumber role.
 
All PPE and necessary tools will be supplied, with a 3-day induction in Dartford to provide full training to perform successfully in this role.
 
The role will be 45 hours a week from 07:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with the potential for overtime at an enhanced rate.
 
Responsibilities:
·Assist the commercial plumber with day-to-day duties in relation to smart water meter installation on commercial premises.
·Assist the commercial plumber with driving duties where required.
 
A full UK driving license is essential in this role.
