Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - Water
Location: Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex
Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)
Rate: Up to £60/hour
Hours: 45 hours per week
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support a portfolio of water treatment and dosing projects (approx. 160 projects planned over the next 4-5 years) across the East of England. The role will be home-based, with regular travel to sites as needed - typically 3 days per week, with the possibility of occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
·On-site commissioning of water-based dosing systems.
·Provide PLC and HMI commissioning support both on-site and remotely (via phone/dial-in).
·Assist the client's commissioning engineers in setting up and fault-finding hardware/equipment during commissioning.
·Work independently to plan and manage your site visits and workload.
·Create or modify PLC/HMI code when additional functionality is required.
·Liaise proactively with commissioning engineers to coordinate schedules.
·Complete timesheets and technical reports accurately and on time.

Requirements :
·Clean UK driving licence and own vehicle.
·Good communication and organisational skills.
·Willingness to travel regularly and stay near site when required.
