Planning Validations/Technical Officer
Initial 3-month Contract - January Start
Our Somerset-based Local Authority client are looking to take on a Planning Validations Technical Officer into their Planning Support team on an initial 3-month contract.
Experience in the validation of planning applications is vital and the ideal candidate will be proficient in using Uniform and Idox systems. Our client would be willing to consider candidates at Planning Assistant level or higher but they would be expected to offer supervisory and support assistance within the wider validation team, as well as also potentially dealing with some planning applications. 
It would aid individuals' applications if they were able to work in the office 2 days a week, although full-time working from home will be considered for candidates with excellent credentials.
