Initial 3-month Contract
Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits. The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently. You will be managing a mixed caseload of householder and minor applications so must be comfortable with this variety.
To be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
·Access to your own vehicle or a valid UK driving license (for travel to and from the office and for site visits)
·Be comfortable working from home.
Role & Responsibilities:
·Overseeing a caseload of minor and householder applications.
·Provision of paid pre-application advice to developers, architects and external consultants.
·Co-ordinate and independently carry out site visits and prepare detailed reports.
·Negotiate finalise and discharge conditions.
·Change of use applications.
Hourly rate is dependant upon experience.
