rail contractor. They have recently won a multitude of work in the Northern region, and would be looking to bring on an Operations Manager to join their already established team.
 
Location: Doncaster
 
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (Experience Dependant)
 
Package:
- Car or car allowance (6.5K pa)
- 39 hours
- 3 month notice period
- BUPA Healthcare
- Pension contribution 3% employees and 5% employers
- Holiday entitlement = 25 days + Bank holidays
 
Requirements:
 
- Previous experience working in a leadership role
-Previous experience working with other tier 1 contractor
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Degree qualified or membership of a related professional institution
- Collaborative approach to building and maintaining high performing teams through effective people management and communication skills
 
Responsibilities:
 
- Accountability for HSQES
- Undertake enquiries and investigations as required by Senior Management in accordance with Company Standards and Instructions.
- Ensure that all Safety reviews on projects are effectively managed and delivered in line with the required time scales.
- Ensure all activities undertaken within the business are in line with the companies Integrated Management System (IMS) and applicable Safety Standards
- Establish and maintain communication channels and a robust briefing structure within MRP on all business issues
- Manage and develop training and development needs for all areas of the MRP business including annual performance reviews
