Nuclear Environmental Advisor - Sustainability Manager
 
Contract Length - 12 Month (home working available - Site is in Oxfordshire)
 
£500 per day Umbrella
 
Main purpose/responsibility
·The main purpose of this role will be to work closely with the sustainability leadership team.
·The main responsibility Is to provide expertise on annual sustainability reporting whilst also driving the RWM's high-profile in delivering a sustainable GDF.
main duties and key responsibilities
·Be able to prepare RWM's annual sustainability report which should include the scope definition, template, content production and data collection.
·Have the ability to work with the E&S manager and wider team to edit the RWM first sustainability report
·Work well with other teams around the business to collect data and narrative needed to produce sustainability reports including collaboration with the corporate communications and creative functions to ensure input from across the business and the SME's
·MUST have the ability to, at ease, handle large amounts of data that has come from various sources and variable levels of cleanliness and granularity (collecting, aggregating, cleaning, imputing, transforming etc.)
·Support the RWM's annual sustainability report as it develop through by tracking legislation, governance, requirements, and market trends that cover sustainability related topics and relay them into a business sense.
· Support the business to answer ESG questionnaires
·Prepare focused updates for the group executive meetings.
Skills and Qualifications
·4+ years of experience in a communications or sustainability related field, (e.g. sustainability consultancy, environmental, sustainable finance)
·Experience in developing sustainability reporting concepts, structure, key messaging and overall content for reports
·Previous time spent in a lead role within a sustainability programme (comms/analyst/reporting)
·Strong data management skills
·Knowledge of the nuclear/infrastructure sector and/or ESG is a plus
·Specialist in one or more of the following; climate change (net zero emissions, climate risks, TCFD, SBTi), biodiversity, sustainability reporting.
·Knowledge of a scripting language is a plus (Python, R.)
