NRSWA Streetworks Coordinator

We currently have an exciting opportunity with our client, a forward-thinking Utilities contractor delivering a wide range of multi-utility and telecoms services across London and the South East of England. They are looking for an experienced Streetworks coordinator to join their well-established team.
 
Responsibilities of the role

Issue Permits of works in accordance with LoPS, NRSWA and TMA.
Co-ordination of works to ensure that the Company works do not clash with those of others and cause congestion of the network.
Ensure all Permits are dealt with in the required time frames as per the Permit Scheme(s).
Producing regular reports of notices issued and closed.
Operate in compliance with company procedures, best practices, and any current legislation.
Perform other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required.

What you'll need
Working knowledge of the Symology and/or Streetworks HUB
Previous experience within utilities environment would be desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Customer Service Awareness
Understanding on obtaining Gas/Electric/Line Search/BT Drawings
Understanding of streetworks and traffic management requirements
