Role: Meter Reader/Meter Technician
Location: Sleaford
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Duration: 6 months +
Hours: 37 per week - flexible hours between 6:30 to 20:00 including some hours on a Saturday morning
Start date: ASAP
Our client is looking for a Meter Technician based close to Sleaford to join their busy teams.
You will be responsible for organising your own time and have the flexibility to plan your own day to meet your meter reading targets.
The working week is 37 hours and these are flexible between the hours of 6:30 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 2-3 hours on a Saturday morning as this is when most customers will be at home.
You will need to live within 30 minutes of Sleaford.
Responsibilities include:
·Obtain accurate readings from water meters 
·Carry out meter exchanges - (Full training will be provided) 
·Collect meter data 
·Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service. 
Skills and experience:
·Customer focussed individuals 
·A professional image is very important - we will provide you with a uniform and van 
·The role can be physically demanding as you will walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day. 
·You will also use a handheld computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required
