Mechanical Fitters - Water Treatment
80% Site based and 20 % workshop based
Salary: Circa £30,000 base salary based on a 40 hour week + Overtime at X1.5 or X2
Start date: Immediate
Employment: Permanent
Location: Bedford - Engineers can be based within 1 hours commute
 
Our client are a specialist contractor within the water industry.  They are currently looking for mechanical fitters to support them on a number of water Utility Frameworks such as Anglian Water, Thames Water and Wessex Water.
 
Deliverables:
·You will be undertaking mechanical site based installation work attached to water treatment and pumping station which will also include pipe fitting
 
Skills & Qualifications ( Advantageous and not essential )
·CSCS card
·EUSR national Water hygiene card
·Thames Water passport
·Slinger & Signaller CPCS
·Full UK driving license
 
Please note this role would suit a mechanical fitter who has not operated in the water sector before and any industrial setting such as manufacturing, fabrication workshops or similar engineering environments would be suitable
