Job Role - Mechanical Engineer (All Levels)

Location - Derby 4/5 days a week

Contract Length - 6 Months

Pay Rates - DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE 

I am looking to speak with mechanical engineers at all experience levels that come from a submarine/defence background and are interested in working for one of the biggest consultancies in the world.

Due to the nature of this project it will be located in Derby full time with next to no movement in working hybrid.

This role has negotiable pay rates for all levels of mechanical engineers with experiences in the industry of submarine/defence/nuclear that currently hold valid UK clearances.

Key Skills/Experiences:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Nuclear sector experience desirable (design, analysis, technical substantiation).
• Experience of delivery of technical projects and services.
• Familiar with working to design codes and industry standards appropriate for a safety critical industry (desirable)
• Experience of producing of key technical documentation - Calculations, Design reports etc
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

This role is an highly regulated industry that will require security clearance and having clearance in place at the moment will be very beneficial. To obtain clearance you will need to be a sole UK national at the minimum so please bare this is mind when applying.
