Material Scientist - Water

Role: Material scientist (Water Treatment)
Location: Cheshire
Salary: Up to £45k depending on skillset and experience

Carrington West are pleased to announce an exciting new role with our client who are leading water treatment specialist both within the UK and international markets. Due to project wins there is a vacancy for a Material Scientist to join their well-established team and work both domestically and internationally on a range of water treatment design projects. 

About you

Ideally you are experienced scientist with good knowledge and previous exposure of working with materials synthesis and development. You should have a basic understanding of electrochemistry and electrochemical device testing.

What this role requires
This role will carry responsibility for researching, designing, modifying, testing and developing the companies water treatment systems, helping to advance their technology and products and strengthen the company portfolio.

Essential experience

• Managing high level R&D projects
• Working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Practical lab work (a minimum of 1 year)
• Report writing and presenting in a clear and logical manner
