Job Role - Managing Planning Consultant

Contract Length - Permanent (6 Month Probation Served Via Carrington West)

Are you a chartered planner that has the creative entrepreneurial skills required to take a business to the next level?
 
I'm looking to speak with people that are enthusiastic about the renewable energy field and have the relevant experience to manage the complexities of a lead planner whilst also focusing on the Marketing strategies and growth of the company.
 
This role will require you to spend a considerable amount of time at the start of your employment learning the roots of the company and getting to grips with the business and business model to allow them to focus on the growth and development of its new markets and pre-existing clients.
 
The ideal candidate will be coming from a large consultancy and have the ability to look at the business from a commercial point of view and be creative in how it can progress the business towards the agreed upon goals. The candidate will need to be extremely driven with a high level of motivation and desire to see the business succeed at all levels whilst also having the ability to get stuck in with the day-to-day tasks of a lead planner.

Required Skills
·For this role you must be chartered (RTPI)
·Looking for Circa 12 years' experience
·The ability to write tenders (proven past in writing them)
·A background in the electricity grid and renewable energy generation town planning background
·Proven and demonstratable skills in the effective management of staff
·Ability to communicate new concepts and ideas business wide whilst driving the team in the new direction.
·Previous extensive knowledge with business development with a focus on winning new business for the company.
This Role is going to be working for an SME that is pushing to break through in the renewables industry whose background is largely in telecoms. The company is currently well established in the planning aspect of major project and therefore the candidate needs to be chartered in Planning (RTPI) whilst having an equal ability to understand and drive the business.
