Are you an experienced M&E Site Manager looking for your next challenge in the water industry?
Do you want to be part of a high-performing team delivering essential clean water infrastructure on the Southern Water framework for a Tier 1 contractor?
At Carrington West, we're working with one of the leading names in water and utilities who are looking for a hands-on, driven M&E Site Manager to join their site team in Bewl. If you thrive in a collaborative, safety-first environment and take pride in delivering high-quality projects, this could be your next great move.
What You'll Be Doing
As the M&E Site Manager, you'll be at the forefront of delivering clean water treatment and non-infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability standards while managing CDM responsibilities across site activities.
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and supply partners, driving innovation and best practice to achieve on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
·Lead and manage on-site M&E construction teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to programme.
·Oversee Tier 2 suppliers - ensuring RAMS are appropriate, works are compliant, and performance meets safety, time, and quality standards.
·Conduct Constructibility Reviews, Project Rehearsals, and Fit-for-Assembly sign-offs to identify improvements and drive innovation.
·Support the Lead Construction Manager in forecasting and planning labour, plant, and material requirements.
·Champion H&S excellence - fostering a culture where teams feel safe, empowered, and confident to raise concerns.
·Implement a mix of standardised products and innovative methods to enhance delivery efficiency and sustainability.
What You'll Bring
·Proven experience managing M&E or multi-disciplinary site delivery within the Water / Utilities sector (Clean Water / Non-Infrastructure preferred).
·HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
·CSCS (Black Card minimum) and up-to-date SMSTS and SEATS certifications.
·Strong understanding of CDM regulations and site safety leadership.
·A proactive approach to problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
