Local Nature Partnership Coordinator
Are you an experienced Local Nature Partnership Coordinator looking for a new challenge?
As a Local Nature Partnership Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Ecologist in delivering the Welsh Government's Local Places for Nature Project across Conwy County.
Key Responsibilities:
·Support communities, businesses and public bodies to undertake targeted habitat and species recovery and enhancement projects
·Raise environmental awareness across the County.
·Integrate the Local Places for Nature objectives within key networks, projects and plans (such as Area Statements, Public Services Boards, Green Infrastructure Projects, pollinator projects, Well-being Plans)
·Identify opportunities for projects to safeguard habitats and species.
Essential Experience:
·Be qualified to a degree level in an environmental discipline
·Possess good ecological knowledge including knowledge of relevant legislation {Nature Recovery Action Plan (Wales); and Environment (Wales) Act 2016}
·Be able to demonstrate experience of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently
