Who will you be joining?
 
You will be joining a London based Local Authority with responsibility for over 34,000 properties and 1000 repairs per week. There are 250 staff members within this property team working together as part of the largest teams in London.
 
What will you do?
 
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
 
·To investigate the housing conditions of the area identifying issues and rectifying where possible with appropriate actions.
·Undertake quality assurance checks as and when required on repairs
·Monitor and oversee works on site including start dates, works in progress, standards of workmanship, materials etc
·Obtain tenders/quotations from approved contractors for works not covered by the main contracts
·Take full responsibility for own caseload and bring to successful conclusion
·Ensure all claims are effectively mitigated
 
What do you need?
 
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
 
·Qualified to degree level in Surveying
·Affiliation with relevant industry bodies
·Previous experience of legal disrepair work
·Solid understanding of Legal obligations of housing providers
·A proven track record of delivery with references to support
