Landscape Architect
 
Our client is looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to join their team in Nottingham. The consultancy is committed to creating vibrant, sustainable, and resilient outdoor spaces. As a Landscape Architect, you'll collaborate with the team on design, planning, and implementation, and have a hands-on approach within a supportive environment.  
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, possess exceptional creative and technical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability. The Landscape Architect will be responsible for leading projects from conceptualization through to completion, collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that enhance the natural environment and enrich the user experience.
 
Responsibilities of the role:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budgetary constraints
- Develop conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed construction drawings
- Conduct site analysis and assessment to identify opportunities and constraints
- Select appropriate plant materials, hardscape elements, and sustainable design strategies
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet client expectations and project deadlines
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to landscape architecture and environmental sustainability
 
Requirements of the role:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
- Experience in landscape design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
