Are you a Recruiter with Rail Civils/Construction experience?

Are you looking for a permanent position on the largest infrastructure project in Europe?

One of the main contractors in a large joint venture working on part of the largest infrastructure project in Europe is looking to hire a full-time internal recruiter for a 12 month fixed contract to support the business.

There is going to be a large influx of recruitment for the upcoming year and will require someone to manage the recruitment process from start to finish.

Salary: up to £40,000 plus travel allowance.
Location: 1 -2 days in North Acton office per week, 1 - 2 days in Head office per month.
Contract type: Fixed term contract 12 months, extension likely.

  • Season ticket from your home location to London zones 1-6 will be fully paid for.
  • 28 days leave. + bank hols. (3 days Christmas shut down).
  • Pension is matched plus 3%, employers’ contribution is capped at 9%.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage applications via applicant tracking system.
  • Discuss and confirm short-listing requirements with hiring managers.
  • Organise interviews and collect CV/interview feedback.
  • Attend and contribute to resource meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers.
  • Assist in fair recruitment training with hiring managers.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in an internal/agency recruitment environment.
  • Exposure to civil engineering/construction recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process including CV review, interview techniques.
  • Technical knowledge of the industry beneficial.
  • Awareness of fair recruitment practices and unconscious bias.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage a number of roles at once, able to prioritise and keep organised.
  • Experience working with an applicant management system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
