This role is perfect for a motivated individual ready to bring their skills and creativity to a dynamic team. You will work closely with junior designers and under the guidance of senior designers or project managers, providing essential support in project administration, design development, and contract documentation.


Key Responsibilities:
·Complete technical drawings as directed by senior designers.
·Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative design ideas.
·Review engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solutions.
·Assist senior designers in selecting fixtures and finishes.
·Develop preliminary space plans under supervision.
·Provide suggested details for interior design projects as directed.
·Research and gather details for furniture and finish cost estimates.
·Develop preliminary plans.
·Verify site details to support design, assisting senior staff.
·Conduct field surveys of client spaces.
·Compile pricing from manufacturers and representatives.
·Support and mentor Junior Designers.
·Collect information for client assessments, attend interviews, provide documentation support, and develop skills with the Affinity program tool.


Qualifications:
·Graduate of architecture or design school.
·2+ years of experience in interior design (experience in corporate workplace and hospitality projects is a plus).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
·Proficient in design principles and aesthetics.
·Familiar with space planning methodology.
·Knowledgeable about furnishings and finishes.
·Intermediate skills in sketching and rendering.
·Proficient in construction documents (CDs) and procedures.
·Familiar with building systems, codes, and ADA requirements.
·Advanced skills in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
·Basic skills in the Affinity Program.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·Competent in presentation and graphic communication.
