The role of Civil Infrastructure Engineer offers the successful candidate a chance to work on a variety of infrastructure engineering schemes.
 
Main Responsibilities:
The Civil Infrastructure Engineer role will involve the design and drafting of SuDS schemes, private externals works, Section 278, Section 38 and Section 104 works for adoption.
 
The role will also include the design and drafting of civil engineering works for a variety of sectors that will include retail, leisure, commercial, general industrial, storage and distribution, hotels, institutions, residential, venues / health and fitness.
 
Experience needed:
Candidates should be capable of designing roads, junctions and foul and surface water drainage systems, modelling cut and fill works and co-ordination of infrastructure works.
 
A logical analytical approach to problem solving should be demonstrated.
 
The successful candidate will be qualified as noted above, computer literate, being fully competent in the use of Word and Excel.
 
Specific experience in the use of AutoCAD for technical drawing will ideally be demonstrated at interview. Experience in the use of MicroDrainage and Civil3D / PDS would be advantageous.
 
Education:
The role would suit a BEng / MEng (Hons) qualified civil engineering graduate who has some relevant experience within the industry.
 
The successful candidate will be given on the job training to develop their skills and they will work closely with the other members of the civil engineering team
