Site Agent - Civil Engineering
Up to £65,000 per annum (salary dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced Site Agent looking to lead key elements of major civil engineering and infrastructure projects? My client is seeking a capable Site Agent to join their Civil Engineering division and play an important role in delivering complex infrastructure schemes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Agent to join a highly respected Tier One contractor working across large-scale civil engineering and highways projects throughout the UK. As Site Agent, you will take responsibility for managing site operations, coordinating teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

My client is a well-established Tier One contractor with a heritage spanning over 200 years, delivering high-quality infrastructure, civil engineering and construction projects across the UK.
Working within their Civil Engineering division, you will be part of experienced project teams delivering complex infrastructure schemes that support regional growth and improve transport networks. This role offers strong exposure to major projects and excellent long-term career development opportunities.
What you will be doing
As Site Agent, you will oversee the day-to-day management of site activities and support the wider project leadership team to ensure successful project delivery.
You will be doing the following:
·Managing and supervising site teams, engineers and subcontractors
·Planning and coordinating site operations to ensure works are delivered efficiently
·Driving the delivery of project activities in line with programme and budget
·Ensuring works comply with design specifications and project requirements
·Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
·Monitoring project progress and reporting updates to the project management team
·Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring works meet quality standards
·Supporting cost control and resource management on site
·Chairing site meetings and coordinating communication between teams
·Maintaining accurate site documentation and project records
·Liaising with the client, designers and project stakeholders
Skills and experience you will need
To succeed as Site Agent, you will bring strong experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects and the ability to lead site teams effectively.
You will ideally have:
·A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
·Proven experience working as a Site Agent on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
·Strong knowledge of construction methods and engineering principles
·Experience managing site teams and coordinating subcontractors
·Good understanding of project planning, resource management and cost control
·Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
·A full UK driving licence
