Senior Engineer - Civil Engineering
Up to £55,000 per annum (salary dependent on experience)
Are you an experienced Senior Engineer looking to play a key role on major civil engineering and infrastructure projects? My client is seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join their Civil Engineering division and support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure schemes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join a highly respected Tier One contractor and contribute to the delivery of large-scale civil engineering and highways projects across the UK. As Senior Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on site, support project delivery teams and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

My client is a well-established Tier One contractor with a heritage spanning over 200 years, delivering high-quality infrastructure, civil engineering and construction projects across the UK.
Working within their Civil Engineering division, you will support the delivery of complex infrastructure schemes while collaborating with experienced project managers, engineers and technical specialists. What you will be doing
As Senior Engineer, you will provide technical oversight across key areas of project delivery and support the management of engineering teams on site.
You will be doing the following:
·Providing technical leadership across civil engineering works on site
·Managing and supporting Site Engineers and engineering teams
·Coordinating engineering activities to ensure works meet project specifications
·Supporting the planning and sequencing of project activities
·Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and project requirements
·Supervising subcontractors and monitoring site operations
·Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
·Carrying out quality assurance checks and inspections
·Monitoring project progress and supporting programme delivery
·Maintaining accurate site documentation and engineering records
·Liaising with project managers, designers and key stakeholders

Skills and experience you will need
To succeed as Senior Engineer, you will bring strong technical knowledge and experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
You will ideally have:
·A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
·Experience working as a Senior Engineer, Section Engineer or experienced Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
·Strong understanding of construction methods and engineering principles
·Experience managing or mentoring engineering teams on site
·Knowledge of project planning, coordination and site delivery
·Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
·Excellent communication and leadership skills
·A full UK driving licence
