An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Highways and Public Realm to join a client in London. You will be a key part of the team involved in a large highway infrastructure project and your main duties include calculating and monitoring project costs, providing cost and quality assurance, performing risk and value management as well as providing initial costings and Bills of Quantities.  

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £375 - £400 per day - negotiable for the right candidate.  Flexible working arrangements / working from home opportunities are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Calculating and monitoring project costs associated with highway and public realm construction
·Ensuring the highest standards of cost control, cost monitoring and cost management are carried out
·Providing cost and quality assurance as well as initial costings/estimates and Bills of Quantities
·Performing risk and value management duties and identifying commercial risks
