Job Title: Highways Maintenance Operative
Multiple Positions available

Company Overview:
We are a prominent highways maintenance contractor for local roads, responsible for managing extensive road networks and street lighting infrastructure.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Highways Maintenance Operative. This permanent role will be within our Depot Operations team, contributing to various tasks such as pothole repairs, excavation works, kerb laying, drainage installations, and vegetation management.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe execution of all Highways Maintenance activities with adherence to traffic management methods and company standards.
Operate and maintain all necessary plant, tools, and equipment to meet high standards of care.
Install traffic management in line with method statements.
Maintain accurate records, including drivers' hours, timesheets, materials, and job feedback.
Keep vehicles clean, organized, and correctly loaded, ensuring proper transport and management of waste materials.
Support weather-related or emergency events, such as flooding prevention, sandbag/salt wick filling, debris clearing, and emergency road closures/diversions.
Assist in all Highway Maintenance work based on instructions and experience/qualifications.
Key Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role/environment involving manual and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Preferably, experience in highways maintenance.
Full UK driving license.
CSCS card (training can be provided).
Willingness to learn, develop within the role, and demonstrate
