Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Change Lead to come and join a busy council in the North West to drive the implementation of the "Confirm" system and ensure the successful embedding of technological and procedural change throughout the organisation.
The main duties of the Change Lead are:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Confirm system, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and best practices in change management and business analysis.
- Design, develop, and execute a comprehensive change management plan, incorporating effective communication, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and business process automation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across highways, transport, and infrastructure to embed digital transformation initiatives and automate key operational processes, drawing on business analyst techniques such as workflow analysis and requirements documentation.
- Develop and deliver a structured training plan for both management and the wider workforce, ensuring all staff are equipped to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, supporting teams to embrace new business as usual (BAU) processes and adopt updated ways of working in the digital age.
- Monitor progress, measure success criteria, and report on key milestones to senior stakeholders and governance boards, ensuring process automation and new BAU activities are effectively embedded, using analytical and reporting skills common to business analysts.
- Identify and address barriers to change, providing coaching and support to staff at all levels to maintain momentum and sustain improvements.
- Ensure digital solutions and process automations are fully adopted and optimised to deliver operational excellence and improved service outcomes.
