OUTSIDE IR35
 
An immediate need has arisen for an Agent, with highways experience, to join a multi-million pound highways improvement scheme in the North East for a major contractor.
 
You will be adept at managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Your strong leaderships skills will help to develop and mentor junior staff.
 
Other duties for the successful Highways Agent will include weekly meetings, forecasting and on site measurements. You will also be tasked with mentoring and the guidance of the Site Engineering teams.
 
You will be expected to manage a team of engineers, alongside management of temporary works, SHE, Quality, Programme and Sub-contractors.
 
A background as an Agent with experience on highways and the delivery on site of these works will be required, challenging the design for value engineering and ensuring a high quality of delivery on site.
 
You will have demonstrated experience in the safe, efficient delivery of major highways and infrastructure projects in a site based role.
 
As the successful Agent you will hold a relevant civil engineering qualification, at Chartered level would be preferred.
 
You will assist with the delivery of all highways related works on site here so vast experience in this area is required.
 
Site hours are currently 0730-1730, but there may be occasional times candidates will be required to work longer / weekends or nights.
