An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Highway Supervisor to come and join a busy client in the East Midlands to lead reactive maintenance schemes on our road network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of emergency and unplanned maintenance works, ensuring the safety and quality of all operations.

The main duties of the experienced Highway Supervisor are:

• Lead and manage a team of highway operatives in the execution of reactive maintenance tasks, including emergency road repairs, pothole fixing, drainage works, and barrier repairs.
• Provide clear direction, training, and support to ensure high standards of performance and safety.
• Plan and schedule reactive maintenance works, ensuring timely response to emergency callouts and unplanned maintenance requirements.
• Liaise with the highway maintenance manager, engineers, and client representatives to prioritise and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
