Job description

Infrastructure Design Engineer
 
Location: Manchester
 
Purpose of the Role
Take ownership of design tasks and deliver high-quality solutions for highways and transport projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client satisfaction. You'll be expected to start working independently on certain design tasks and have support from experienced engineers for more complex schemes.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed designs and drawings
- Manage small projects or work packages
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance
- Support junior team members
 
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in highways design
- Knowledge of DMRB and Manual for Streets
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
 
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience of Section 278 and Section 38 projects
- Experience of using Civil 3D on projects
