An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Highway Engineer to come and join a busy Highway Design Team to work on Active Travel schemes in the Manchester area.

As the experienced Highway Engineer you will:

• Work alongside the Principal and Senior Engineers assisting with the detail design of major highway schemes.
• Work with Transportation colleagues to develop concept plans into detail design and construction drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of contract drawings and documentation for the major highway schemes you are involved in.
• Get involved in other work across the Design team.
• Play a part in the delivery of those highway projects you have had a hand in designing.
• Undertake or assist with, depending on their complexity, inspections of works being undertaken on site, and keep clear and accurate records of those inspections.
