An opportunity has arisen for a Design Manager with experience in Highways and Infrastructure to join a client in the Greater Manchester Area . Your main duties include directing design teams to deliver a programme of multiple projects, ensuring all designs meet the project criteria, and communicating the schemes to external and internal design teams.
 
The role will offer flexible working and my client is looking for someone to offer support long term.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Ensuring all design information is delivered to the project team
·Ensuring all designs meet the project criteria and the programme plan
·Ensuring all designs meet the contractor's proposals, costs and construction plans
·Directing external and internal design teams and communicating all information accordingly
 
Previous experience in Highways and Infrastructure is essential for this role.  The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar and will be chartered or working towards chartership.
