Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
 
Salary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum
 
Location: Hertfordshire UK
 
Are you an experienced Health and Safety Manager looking for a new opportunity? Do you have a background within the highways sector and a desire to progress within the industry?
 
My client are a well-established and leading construction contractor supplying efficient solutions to a variety of high profile clients, prioritising health and safety as a huge part of their company culture. They're looking for a HSE Manager with highways experience to join the team in Hertfordshire and help contribute to the innovative approach to HSE.
 
 
Key Responsibilities of the HSE Manager:
·Implement HSE Principles across the business
·Advise staff on best HSE practices
·Assess risks and suggest ways to mitigate these within daily operations
·Gather feedback and collate this to problem solve any issues
·Co-ordinate efficient training programmes for staff
·Prepare reports and store all relevant data
·Undertake site visits when required
 
Key Requirements of the HSE Manager:
·Demonstrable experience within a similar role within the highways sector
·NEBOSH qualified
·ISO Training preferred but not essential
·High level of communication skills
·Working knowledge of the construction sector
·Updated knowledge on HSE Legislation
·An innovative individual with good problem solving abilities
·Happy to join a growing company and implement expertise
·Willing to work on site 5 days per week
