Job Role - Health and Safety Lead (Highly Regulated)

Location - Winfrith

Contract Length - 12 Months

Pay Rate - £420 a day OUTSIDE IR35

I am looking to speak to candidates that have knowledge of highly regulated industry health and safety and who would feel confident in managing a team and developing processes.

This role would require the successful candidates to be on site 5 days a week working closely with multiple stakeholders and management teasm to ensure the site is running to 100% H+S compliant.  

Key Requirements:

• Providing operational and functional management advice of H&S policies and the prevention of accidents and incidents
• Assist with the development of H&S management plans
• Establishing, maintaining and managing relationships with external stakeholders
• H&S surveillance of operational sites and participating in H&S audits
• Assist with H&S risk assessments
• Managing a team of H&S professionals on site

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a health and safety role in construction or infrastructure (Nuclear Preferred)
• Member of or working towards IOSH/CMIOSH
• Safety, Health and Environmental Diploma, Degree or equivalent
• Experience working on heavy civils and construction projects essential
• Experience managing a team
• Training qualifications preferred
