My client is a dynamic and innovative transport consultancy providing public and private sector clients with support in delivering transportation related services. They have extensive experience in working within the transport industry and understand the needs and requirements of their clients and are on hand to deliver high quality successful projects.
 
With a growing pipeline of new projects and clients, they are now looking to expand their team by recruiting a Graduate Transport Planner to support their development and growth and deliver multiple projects.

Do you understand how technology can support clients to deliver a data driven approach for their annual project programmes? Working with an in house programme & data portal which uses the power of cutting-edge AI techniques to support and empower clients as they aim to create and deliver sustainable, zero carbon transport networks.
 
The successful candidate will be working closely and reporting into a Senior Consultant to provide support with ongoing and continual traffic and data analysis/reporting of data trends using the latest technology portal and sensors. The successful candidate will also help develop and draft monitoring strategies, client reports, bid creation and liaison with key clients and other sub-contractors.

The ideal candidate will help in:
 
· Provision of transport assessments and statements.
· Monitoring of active travel and traffic projects.
· Preparation and coordination of travel planning schemes.
· Junction analysis and network assessments.
· Preliminary highway designs.
· Traffic and Parking Scheme Designs
· Assist with the writing of policy documents
 
Educational background -
 
Strong Degree in either Geography or Civil Engineering
 
Skills required -
 
· Strong report writing ability.
· Highly numerate and an analytical mindset.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Outstanding time management
· Prior experience in transport planning or monitoring would be beneficial;
· Some level of experience with Excel and GIS would be very useful
