Role: Graduate Project Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire/hybrid/staying away required
Salary: Up to £24,000 p/a + company vehicle + annual bonus scheme

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career as a Project Engineer in the water sector?
My client, a well-established contractor on multiple UK water frameworks is looking for a trainee Project Engineer to be involved in the design, planning, reporting, delivery and review of Engineering Solutions across their wastewater projects in locations such as London, East Anglia and the South West.
 
 
 
Your role will involve:
·Business development and client liaising.
·Preparation of Documentation packs including RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, Specifications and Schedules.
·Outline engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising in-house resources, site installation and construction personnel.
·The timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget.
·Liaising with client's engineering and operations staff to ensure KPIs are met or exceeded within budget constraints.
·Attending internal and external review and progress meeting.
·Attending site visits/meetings - staying away required (fully expensed).
·Ascertaining preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions.
·Preparing estimates and quotations.
·Completing contract documentation.
·Managing site safety, health and environmental issues.
·Co-ordinating and liaising with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installations and construction teams.
·Procurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors.
·Compiling and collating final contract documentation, "As built" drawings, test sheets etc. for inclusion into operation and maintenance manuals.
·Establishing and agreeing price variations and final accounts.
 
 
Required Skills:
·HND or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or related subject
·Good commercial awareness.
·Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office applications is essential.
·Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements.
·Hold a valid full UK driving license.
·Eligible to work in the UK.
