Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Oceanography, Geology, Geography or a similar field, looking to start your career as a Hydrographic Surveyor?

As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will use technology to produce detailed plans of seabeds, harbours and waterways by measuring and mapping underwater surfaces and studying the construction of the seabed, showing the depth, shape and contours.

My client, a specialist in Hydrographic and Land Surveys, is looking for a Graduate Hydroprahic Surveyor to work under industry regulations to assist with the technical aspects of conducting hydrographic survey operations such as vessel mobilisation, data acquisition and the processing and reporting of hydrographic data.

Your working base will be my client's office in Salisbury, and from there you will head to surveying locations with Hydrographic Surveyor colleagues.

The contracted hours are 37.5 hours per week, with the office hours being 8.30-5.30pm. The ideal candidate will have the ability to spend up to 4 weeks per year away from home, working on survey vessels at sea.

Apply today and if successful, I will be in touch. You can contact me at libby.horner@carringtonwest.com / 02394 314919.
