Do you want to work for a specialist Geotechnical and Geo-environmental consultancy in Exeter?
My client has a national and international reputation for delivering solutions to challenging civil and environmental engineering problems.
Due to an increased workload my clients are currently seeking a Graduate Geo-environmental/Geotechnical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role will involve a combination of office based and site-based work, supporting the more senior members of the team. The successful candidate will provide input on geotechnical assessment and design, such as temporary works, shallow and deep foundations and slope stability and the assessment, remediation, and verification of the land quality. Responsibilities will include the supervision of ground investigation works, the assessment and interpretation of data and report writing. The ability to work well within a team is important.
The types of projects the successful application will be involved in will include the redevelopment of brownfield sites, such as former gas works and landfills and transport infrastructure projects such as railways, roads, ports, and harbours.
In house an external training will be provided as required, including geotechnical and environmental modelling software and CAD. Attaining relevant industry accreditations such as Chartered Geologist status, will be actively encouraged and supported through mentoring scheme.
The company offer a competitive salary and company benefits.
