Role Overview:
As a General Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of an enabling works scheme in Norwich. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the project is executed safely, efficiently, and within the specified timeframes. You will be working alongside a skilled team of professionals, including site engineers, machine operators, and laborers.

Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and supervise the on-site workforce, ensuring they work safely and efficiently.
·Coordinate and schedule daily tasks, machinery, and resources.
·Monitor progress against project plans and report any deviations.
·Enforce strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and best practices.
·Maintain clear communication with the project manager and stakeholders.
·Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
·Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues promptly.

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a General Foreman in earthworks or highways projects.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Knowledge of construction best practices and health and safety regulations.
·Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
·Excellent problem-solving skills.
·CSCS card (Gold or Black) is preferred but not essential.
·A valid driving license is desirable.
