What we need:
We are pleased to be working with our client, a major highways maintenance contractor, to find a reliable and experienced Foreman to carry out various works on the Highway. The works include junction improvements, bridge structures, resurfacing and general maintenance. We have jobs in both the East Midlands and around the London area and have a mixture of both night and day works.

What you will do:
Oversee the work of operatives and sub-contractors
Ensure Health & Safety is paramount on site
Contribute to preparation of the programme
Plan and order materials and plant to achieve programmes
Keep daily records of work carried out
Ensure that works proceed in accordance with site programmes
Ensure all plant on site is suitable for the task and conforms to current legislation
Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.

What you will need to succeed:
SSSTS/SMSTS is a must
Previous General foreman experience on a live highway
Must hold a full driving license and have vehicle
For Limited companies - Must have all necessary insurances and Chapter 8 vehicle
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
