Functional Tester (rail)
 
Are you a functional tester looking to work on a variety of rail projects in the southern regions? My client is currently looking for functional testers to join their fast growing team due to a variety of projects taking place.
 
Contract: Permanent
 
Salary: All dependant on experience level and qualifications.
 
Location: Isle of Wight and Southampton (Candidates must be prepared to travel)
 
Start date: ASAP

Requirements:
 
- PTS
- MOD 5, 3C, 3BL, AND 4
- Fire safety awareness
- First Aid
- A clear understanding of signalling equipment and systems
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
- Assisting senior test engineers and TIC'S in the testing and commissioning of signalling equipment
- Undertaking intrusive trackside, interlocking and control centre verifications and functional testing duties.
- Application of test equipment, measuring devices and test straps, reporting of status of equipment associated with preparatory testing and commissioning of altered or new signalling equipment and systems.
- Conduct verification and functional testing in compliance with relevant technical professional and group standards.
- Liaise with other departments and functions.
