My client are a large multinational contractor working on the delivery of a large pipeline project across the South of the UK. They have been working on a large project crossing several counties rom the south coast to London and are on the next phase of the project.
 
Based out of Farnborough, they are looking for a Document Controller to join the team and look after fuel consumption data. Working on a large engineering project that spans from Southampton to Farnborough, you will collate data, deal with analytics's and suggest ways in which fuel can be saved across the project. This is a vital role due to the constant rising costs in fuel & the wider need to make UK infrastructure projects greener. You will be responsible for coming up with solutions to lower fuel usage and ideas to educate staff on how to be efficient with fuel.
 
This role is paying £25 per hour and is a 12 month contract role.
 
The role is located in the main engineering office in Farnborough, the HQ for a large multi million pound project. This is a great opportunity to make a difference to the environment and bring your own ideas to a large corporate company.
 
The role:
·Ensure all calibration certificates are up to date
·Collect fuel data
·Inform Plant Manager of red flag fuel consumption
·Provide data to subcontractors on fuel usage - and ensure they are aware of the charges
·Create fuel saving solutions and training ideas
·Working towards the Greener energy initiative
