Job description

Currently, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Highway Foreman for an upcoming highways project in Tyne and Wear.

Job Responsibilities:
·Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on the highways project.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
·Oversee the installation and maintenance of highways and drainage systems.
·Collaborate with the project management team to achieve project goals.
·Manage and lead a team of workers, providing guidance and support.

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Foreman in highways and drainage projects.
·Hold a Temporary Works Supervisor ticket.
·Possess a CSCS Gold Card.
·Hold SSSTS/SMSTS certification.
·Valid Safety Critical Medical certification.

Skills and Qualifications:
·In-depth knowledge of highways and drainage construction processes.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
·Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
·Experience in managing teams and subcontractors.
